Who am I & what do I do?

Hi there! My name is David Lukacik, and I am a student at Arizona State University, pursuing dual degrees in Neuroscience and Philosophy of Science, Nature, and Mind, with a minor in Linguistics.

My passion for medicine, research, and teaching has led me to participate in various academic pursuits. As a research assistant, I have had the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects in both neuroscience and philosophy. I am particularly interested in the intersection of these two fields. I hope to contribute to our understanding of how the brain shapes our experiences and perceptions of the world.

In addition to my research, I am a teaching assistant, sharing my knowledge and passion for the subjects I love with my fellow students. I find great fulfillment in helping others learn and grow; teaching is one of the most rewarding professions.

Lastly, I am a proud member of Barrett, The Honors College, where I have connected with like-minded individuals who share my curiosity and drive to succeed. Being a part of this community has allowed me to push myself further than I ever thought possible and has given me the confidence to pursue my dreams.

Overall, I am deeply committed to learning, growing, and positively impacting the world. Whether through my research, teaching, or involvement in my community, I am always striving to be the best version of myself and make a difference in the lives of others.
